Stylish knitted cardigan with patterns. Knitted coats and cardigans: patterns for beginners. Cardigan knitted with colored waves. Catherine's work

Cardigans Recently they are one of the most fashionable things in the wardrobe. They are especially popular.

And we will link in this master class stylish cardigan knitted in one fabric. It will have only two seams, which are located under the sleeves on the side. This cardigan is knitted very simply and quickly with your own hands.

The main canvas resembles the letter “T” made of two rectangles. This cardigan goes well not only with jeans, but also with dresses. It is suitable for any time of year. Therefore, it can be considered universal. See detailed description of the work and photos from Anna.

For knitting cardigan and we will need:

  • Circular knitting needles “4”;
  • Yarn (200 m/50 g);
  • Needle.

You will need 8 skeins of any yarn thickness at the rate of 200 meters per 100 grams.

We will knit the product in two threads so that it does not turn out loose. For sizes 42 and 44 you need to cast on 250 stitches on circular needles.

We will need 66 loops for the back and 92 loops for each shelf.
Next we will knit all 250 stitches with an elastic band. We knit approximately one by one with an elastic band about 5-7 cm.
After this we move on to garter stitch. We will also knit all the loops with it. We knit 20 cm in garter stitch.

Now we need to close the hinges of the shelves. Therefore, at the beginning of the row we close off the first 92 loops. Then we knit 66 stitches in garter stitch.

In order to close the next 92 loops of the second shelf, we attach an additional thread and close the loops with it.
As a result, we will have only 66 loops left on our knitting needles. And then we will knit only these loops.

Continue knitting in garter stitch for a few more rows. This will be the back. Its length from the shelf should be equal to the length of the shelf itself. That is, after closing the loops, we have formed an angle between the back and the shelf. From this we measure both the shelves themselves and the back.
Close the back loops.

Now we will stitch our fabric. It is best to do this with a plastic needle and a knitted stitch.
We put the shelves on the back so that we get a vest.

We begin to sew the shelves to the back from the bottom up, leaving an opening for the sleeve.

After we have sewn the back and fronts, we will also knit the sleeve itself. Directly from the hole under it we cast on loops on circular knitting needles. And then we will knit another 15-20 cm with an elastic band one on one. You can knit more rows. Then the sleeve will be longer.

All that remains is to hide all the protruding threads inside our knitting. This is very convenient to do with a crochet hook or a needle.
The knitted cardigan is ready!

When it comes to knitting a cardigan, the first thing that comes to mind is a knitted cardigan. Indeed, there are a lot of models of knitted cardigans on the Internet using knitting needles. Probably because a cardigan is most often something long and warm, and warm things are knitted mainly with knitting needles.

But, in recent years, crocheting has become no less popular than knitting. You may be surprised, but needlewomen have come up with many dense and elastic patterns that are crocheted. The Internet is replete with models of sweaters, warm cardigans, and jackets crocheted rather than knitted. Of course, openwork summer cardigans do not stand aside either. We have compiled a new selection of 46 knitted cardigan patterns.

A cardigan is an interesting and fashionable accessory in the wardrobe of a modern woman. The variety of shapes and styles of the cardigan allows you to wear it with anything: with a skirt, dress, classic trousers and ripped jeans. Cardigans have been knitted by needlewomen for many years now, because they are in trend. Particularly interesting are cardigan models knitted with thick yarn or thick braids - imitation of bulky knitting: cardigans with Lalo knitting needles, cardigans with merino knitting needles, etc.

Knitting a cardigan using thick yarn is easier because the work moves quickly and requires much less time and patience. After all, not every craftswoman will find the strength to knit one thing for 2-3 months. So, if you are not ready to have a lot of patience, choose thicker yarn, larger knitting needles and interesting master classes.

What color yarn is best for knitting a cardigan?

Of course, it is best to start from your color type and choose shades from fashionable colors that suit you best. And most importantly, make sure that the knitted cardigan fits well into your wardrobe.

Fashionable colors of 2017 are natural, soft shades. Among them are:

  • Rich green
  • Rose quartz
  • Rich electric blue
  • Blue cold, icy shade
  • Bright saffron
  • Taupe (iced coffee)
  • Gray with a hint of lilac
  • Yellow muted
interesting selection for the site 17 beautiful models

If your clothes are office wear, then feel free to choose shades of gray, cool blue or rose quartz. And if you wear more casual clothes, denim, then buy saffron or electric blue. Although gray also looks good with jeans.

The yarn consumption for knitting a cardigan is quite large: 1-1.5 kg. In this case, you can save money by purchasing yarn in packages in an online store, rather than individually at retail. It's even better to do this:

  • buy 1 skein from 2-3 yarn options
  • knit a pattern pattern for a cardigan
  • wash it and calculate the loops.

As a result, you will know the quality of the yarn: whether it sheds or not, whether the yarn shrinks, whether it holds the pattern you have chosen well. This careful preparation will save you from the disappointment of choosing the wrong yarn. Or, as an option, buy only the yarn recommended by the author of the model you have chosen. There is no point in experimenting in this matter.

We wish you good luck in the complex process of knitting a cardigan. We hope that the result will not disappoint you. To help you, we have selected more than 35 interesting models of knitted cardigans with descriptions and diagrams. If you want to show your finished cardigan, send your work to our editorial office. We will be happy to publish it.

1. ADVANTAGE OF KNITTED CARDIGANS. HOW TO CHOOSE AND WHAT TO WEAR THE MODEL SUITABLE FOR YOU

The cardigan is coming back into fashion and many women are happy to complement their wardrobe with new models of these knitted products. Classically, a cardigan looks like an elegant soft jacket with a loose fit without a collar or an elongated jacket with a V-neck, which is fastened with buttons or buttons, and is also complemented by side pockets.

Some women prefer not to buy new models of outerwear, but knit fashionable items with their own hands according to patterns with a detailed description of all stages of work. We have already published several articles with video lessons, master classes, patterns and instructions, with the help of which our visitors have already knitted wonderful cardigans, jackets, blouses and vests with knitting needles or crochet. On our website you can also find patterns and knitting lessons for different models of outerwear for obese women, interesting options for cardigans and tunics in large sizes.

Which cardigan model would you like to knit? Useful tips from stylists to help you choose the right option for the upcoming season.

What to wear with a knitted cardigan:

Winter, late autumn. An elongated women's cardigan made of tightly knitted wool yarn will look ideal in tandem with a turtleneck or jumper. Bottoms: skinny knitted trousers, skinny leggings or thick, warm dark-colored jeans. Knitted cardigans decorated with fur along the edges (just below the line of fasteners and then along the entire bottom) look impressive.
Summer, early spring. You can knit a lightweight model with a large design or pattern using thin threads. A short cardigan will look impressive with a top, and a medium-length cardigan will look impressive with a fitted light dress.

What does a cardigan without fasteners and buttons go with? This option is at the height of fashion today and knitted clothes without buttons can be combined with different dresses. You will look feminine and stylish if you knit a cardigan, the length of which will be approximately the same as that of the dress. You can also wear dresses that are slightly longer than the cardigan.

Long cardigan midi (covering the hips) or knee-length. This option is suitable for slender, short women. You can knit a model with short sleeves and a large pattern in the button area. You can wear it with different models of trousers - slightly flared at the very bottom or straight with arrows. Shoes: a knitted cardigan + trousers, dark shoes (or boots in winter) with a high platform or heels will harmoniously complement the ensemble. This will make you look much slimmer and taller.

Long cardigan (below the knee line). The perfect knitted clothing for tall women! It will look ideal on both overweight women and women with a slender figure. A wide belt (you can weave or knit it yourself and purchase a buckle) will perfectly complement your outfit, thanks to which your figure will look slimmer and more feminine.

A long knitted cardigan can be worn: with long fitted dresses, with black skirts, with a light blouse, with skinny jeans or with knitted trousers. If your legs are slender, then you can wear breeches (or denim shorts in the summer) under the cardigan and tights to match the breeches.

Short cardigan. In an ensemble with a fitted model, you can safely wear a pencil skirt, a stylish flared skirt and any maple dress to match the top.
Short shorts or breeches with a plain T-shirt will look great in an ensemble with a short knitted cardigan in the summer season. Below are photos of suitable clothing options for cardigans:

Select the color of the yarn from which we will knit a suitable cardigan for a woman:

A cardigan knitted from red yarn will go well with yellow, white, black, and golden colors.

A beige cardigan can be worn with clothes of languid, muted colors. A good accent is golden clothes with a cardigan and golden high-heeled shoes.

With a blue cardigan you can create a very stylish ensemble, but you need to consider the following - for a cold and dark blue color, choose an option from
achromatic palette (black, gray or white), and for warm and light blue clothing options in yellow, orange and even dark green. In an ensemble with a blue knitted cardigan, democratic options such as denim shirts, denim dresses and other denim options will look great.

Universal black cardigan color. You can even wear an evening suit (both black and light) under a black knitted cardigan. Suitable options: clothes in white, silver, light pink.
