Description
To knit Smesharik Krosha you will need:
- blue yarn, knit in two threads;
- white, black, hot pink (can be red) and blue threads;
- hook;
- soft wire;
- padding polyester or other light filler (you can use cotton wool).
Body
VP- air loop, RLS- single crochet.
1 row: 2 VP, knit 6 sc in the first loop. Mark the beginning of the row with a contrasting thread.
2nd row: knit in the round. In each sc of the previous row 2 sc = 12 sc.
3rd row: *1 sc, 2 sc in one loop* - repeat until the end of the row = 18 sc.
4 row: in each loop 2 sc = 24 sc.
5 row: * 3 sc in one loop, 2 sc in the next loop * - repeat until the end of the row = 30 sc.
6 row: *4 sc in one loop, 2 sc in the next loop* - repeat until the end of the row = 36 sc.

3rd row: knit in the round without increasing.
Krosh has one eye smaller than the other, so knit one eye according to this description, and in the second in the third row, instead of single crochets, knit half double crochets.
Pupil
1 row: 2 VP, in the first loop we knit 8 RLS, close in a circle with a half-column.
Spout
1 row: 2 VP, knit 6 sc in the first loop.

Assembly
Sew the ears to the body, then the legs and arms. Refer to the photo. Then we sew on the eyes and nose. We embroider the mouth and claws. You can embroider with a chain stitch.

Horns
For the horns you will need a hard, but bendable and not soft wire, so that you can bend the horns, give them a shape, and so that they hold this shape and do not bend or wrinkle...
Cast on 6 vp, connect them into rings and knit dc. until you get a tube 11 cm long, then make 3 decreases, break the thread and tighten the resulting hole.
Take a wire (cm 15). Bend one end of it into a loop (so as not to pierce the knitted fabric) and insert this end into the resulting tube, the wire should protrude about 1-1.5 cm from the horn. If the wire is thin, then stuff the horns. Give the horns a shape.
Tie 2 more tubes 3 and 2.5 cm long in the same way.
Stuff and sew them to the long part of the horn.
One horn is ready. Knit the second one in the same way (see photo)
Eyes
1st row: cast on 2 ch with white thread, knit 6 tbsp. b/n.in the second loop from the hook =6
2nd row: 6 increases = 12
3rd row: * 2 st.b.n., 1 increase * -6 times = 18
Pupil:
1st row: cast on 2 ch with black thread using a smaller crochet hook. and close it in a ring. Knit 10 tbsp. b/n. [= 6 tbsp. b/n]. Break the thread. Draw a white thread through the center of the pupil twice (this is necessary to obtain a “shine in the eyes”)
We sew all the details to the body. We embroider the mouth and eyebrows

Dial 2 VP. In the 2nd loop from the hook, knit loops in the following sequence: 1 sc, 1 hc, 1 dc, 4 dc2n, 1 dc, 1 hc, 1 sc. The eyelet is ready - you need to fasten the thread and cut it, leaving a length sufficient for sewing on the part. So knit one more piece.
Cheeks
1 row: 4 VP, 3 sc in the 2nd loop from the hook, 1 sc, 3 sc in the next loop, 1 sc.
2nd row: 1 sc, 3 sc in next stitch, 3 sc, 2 sc in next stitch.

Kopatych’s nose is knitted similarly to the cheeks, but knitting must be finished earlier - after the 5th row.
Hat

Sew the front and back legs, nose, cheeks, hat, ears to Kopatych’s body. Make eyes - they can be knitted or cut out of fabric (washers are also suitable). Embroider the eyebrows and mouth, paying maximum attention to this - these elements determine the face of the toy.

Below is a master class on Kopatych knitting from one of the craftswomen. If you knit along it, you will get a different result from the first picture. But maybe you'll like it even more.
You will need: remnants of yarn in brown, yellow, orange, white, red, dark brown and black, hook No. 1, 7 and No. 2, padding polyester.
Torso: use brown thread to crochet No. 2 in a chain of 4 chains. p., close it in a ring, knit 8 tbsp in the center of the ring. b/n. In the next row, double each stitch, then knit in a circle, doubling every 2nd, every 3rd stitch in each subsequent row. etc. until the diameter of the circle is 5.5 cm. Knit the next 7 rows without increments. Next, decrease every 7th stitch until 20 stitches remain. Fill the base with padding polyester and continue knitting, evenly decreasing the stitches in each row, until the hole is closed.
Legs: use brown thread to crochet No. 2 in a chain of 3 chains. p., close it in a ring. Knit 6 stitches into the center. b/n. Next, knit in the round, doubling every st in the 1st row, and every 2nd st in the 2nd row. Next, knit 2 rows without additions. In the following rows, decrease every 3rd, then every 2nd stitch until 1 stitch remains. Break the thread. Tie the second part in the same way.
Hands: crochet 3 stitches with brown thread. p., close it in a ring. Knit 6 stitches into the center. b/n. Next, knit in the round, doubling each st in the 1st row. Next, knit 2 rows without additions. In the following rows, decrease every 3rd, then every 2nd stitch until 1 stitch remains. Break the thread. Tie the second part in the same way.
Nose: use a dark brown thread to crochet No. 1.7 in a chain of 3 chains. p., close it in a ring, knit 6 tbsp in the center. b/n.
In the next row, double each stitch, then knit 2 rows without increasing.

Assembly:
